Bruce R. Cook

After graduating from law school I returned home to practice with my dad, Bruce N. Cook. Since an early age my parents have instilled in me the idea that working men and women built this country and made it great. I am proud that in my 28 years of practice I have represented well over 1,000 working men and women in cases against a variety of defendants including large corporations, electrical companies, trucking companies, general contractors and insurance carriers. I have tried cases to verdict in St. Clair County, Madison County, Clinton County, Randolph County, Monroe County, Washington County and Federal Court.

The highlight of my practice has been the friendships I have forged with my clients, and the union members of southern Illinois. I take great pride in the results I have obtained for my clients in their personal injury claims. My greatest professional honor took place in 2007, when in recognition for my work as a lawyer representing union members, my good friend, the Business Manager for Downstate Illinois Laborer’s District Council, Glyn Ramage, nominated me for an honorary gold card with the Laborer’s International Union of North America. My honorary card is framed on my office wall.

I love being a lawyer, and am proud to be a life long resident of Southern Illinois.
